Our client, based in Bremen, Germany are looking for a Production Line Lead to join the team on a permanent or AUG contract basis. This position would suit someone with a Space/Satellite background.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete setup, operation and maintenance of a satellite production line Ground Support Equipment
- Leading a small team of EGSE and MGSE engineers
- Responsibility to provide the conditions for a smooth work progress – you assure the availability of equipment, procedures and resources in time
- Organisation of work, manpower planning
- Supervision of all activities in the production line
- Involved in processing related tasks
- Permanent improvement process for the work execution
- You are reporting to the AIT Manager
Qualification:
- Knowledge about Spacecraft Central Checkout Systems (CCS)
- Knowledge in Windows and Linux system and network administration and configuration.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Well-developed communication skills and hands-on mentality.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under time-pressure
- Leading skills
- Used to tough project targets and challenges
- High motivation and commitment to the project.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
