Sr Functional Analyst - Contract - English + Dutch or French

Target
Mapping, documenting and translating from a functional point of view the functioning and needs of the NMBS and its subsidiaries with translation into concrete functional specifications, of IT applications with or without the support of the (non-client facing) IT services. The applications managed in the team support real estate and customer service processes. This employee also provides support to the users of the applications that he/she knows very well.

Dimensions (5 main qualitative and quantitative data):

1. The business Area comprises about 20 employees at YPTO
2. The business area has one of the most important support and investment budgets
3. The business area has experts in process improvement and business process re-engineering
4. The business area has a direct impact on the way the business processes run
5. The Business Area includes Customer Service and Real Estate processes regarding SAP and various Legacy systems

 Convert needs into functional specifications in a detailed analysis document, analyze the need
 Works on different projects or one large project with an important impact on the customer's business
 Empathy for the customer's business when proposing improvements
 Final responsibility for assigned assignments. Monitors the work of the Junior Functional Analyst
 Oversees the entire application landscape in the assigned business domain within and outside NMBS
> 10 years in an advisory role within the business domain
Language skills  Fluent English and French or Dutch, spoken & written
IT knowledge  Office, software for (flow) diagrams, (Sparx EA, Visio)
Other knowledge  Knowledge of the business domain,
