In order to provide our users with the best user experience, we are continuously improving our UI language quality and feature design. We are now looking for a European localization expert as a full-time employee, who will be the owner for our European UI localization, and collaborate with the translation center and R&D team to make sure that our language and features suit European users’ habits.
Job Responsibilities:
1 Stipulate the APP names, terms, and descriptive language used on the consumer products, and ensure the idiomaticity and acceptability among users.
2 Analyze feedback on the language and feature design of the European version and make suggestions for optimization.
3 Collaborate with the UI team and translation center to give proper language and feature design suggestions at the planning and design stage with an aim to provide the best UI and user experiences for users.
4 Summarize culture-sensitive cases and language misuse cases to lecture concerned R&D personnel as an evangelist.
5 Suggest region-specific features or functions for European version, to help products better adapt to European culture and conventions, and offer better experiences to local users.
Job Requirements:
1 German, French, Italian, or Spanish native speaker
2 Basic Chinese understanding is required; proficiency in Chinese would be preferred
3 Renowned in the industry for authoring books or lecturing
