Our client, based in Munich, Germany are looking for an EEE Parts Engineer to join the team on either a permanent or contract basis.

Working in the Electronic Development & Manufacturing department you will be responsible for Coordination of space component procurement measures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Interface with the customer to manage requirements on EEE components
- Support component definition and maintenance in the EEE parts database
- Evaluate components wrt. compliance to project requirements and manufacturing aspects
- Clarify technical aspects with component manufacturers
- Establish component qualification plans and organize qualification tests
- Conduct component procurements together with the purchasing dept.
- Define specific component storage conditions
- Define and organize / conduct re-lifing activities
- Prepare project specific parts procurement specifications
- Prepare, review and release of supplier DCLs and PADs
- Ensure export compliance w.r.t. components subject to export control.
- Support processing of parts non-conformities and provide technical support for NRB decisions wrt. EEE parts
- Create manufacturing documentation related to stock parts usage
- Define and manage of soldering verifications (manufacturing processes)

Qualifications:

- Completed study (Technical University/University of Applied Sciences) in electrical engineering or physics
- Several years (>3 years) of professional experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space.
- Good knowledge of different standards and norms concerning qualification level, reliability, incl. ESA/ESCC/ECSS and MIL specifications.
- Knowledge of export regulations for EEE components (ITAR, EAR, EAR99).
- Experience in materials management with SAP.
- Applicants must be able to work thoroughly and systematically, to work with other engineers in project teams and under pressure (tight schedules, fixed date deliveries, etc.).
- Good team worker, engaged, capable to assume responsibility for own small project.
- Ability to communicate with engineers, project management and customer.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Applicants must be fluent in English and German
