Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Linux based devices
You will be joining an established team of engineers and take up development and integration activities for Linux based gateway products.
Based on technical requirements and 3rd party components you will be responsible for designing solutions, implementing missing functionalities and integrating existing software modules.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with development for an embedded Linux device
- Experience in embedded software development for Linux (user and kernel space)
- Thorough knowledge of computer network concepts (bridging, routing, TCP/IP, firewall, NAT, DHCP, DNS...)
- Knowledge of Linux as work environment and operating system
- Familiar with concepts such as TR-69, TR-181, LCM, LXC, web framework, UPNP, DLNA, SAMBA, etc)
- Strong embedded C coding skills
- Unix shells, busybox
- Debugging on target (gdb)
- Scripting languages such as Lua, Python, Ruby...
- Knowledge of OpenWRT would be a plus
- Knowledge of GIT is an advantage
- Knowledge of automated testing (Jenkins) is a plus
We are looking for contractors who will bring good communication skills in technical matters and are able to work in a multi-cultural Agile environment.
This is an initial 6 months project with a view for further extensions.
