Our client is an established Airport solutions provider and due to growth of their Brighton office they are looking to secure a number of mid-level Software Engineers to join them in Brighton on a permanent basis.
Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for completing development work and may assist in the planning stage proposing methods as well as potential designs and implementation strategies.
You will often produce estimated completing times and assists with identifying potential delays in the completion of the work. You will communicate with various other departments and teams to coordinate work and provide feedback in relation to the progress of outstanding work.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of C#
- Good knowledge of application technologies, including WPF, LINQ and Entity Framework
- Good knowledge of web technologies, including SOAP, REST (XML, JSON)
- Good knowledge of T-SQL
- Good knowledge of Software Development lifecycle
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Good knowledge of design pattern (MVVM, MVC, MVP)
- Good knowledge of Universal apps frameworks
- Good knowledge of SOLID principles
- Experience producing process flow documentation and test plans
