System Test Engineer - Telecoms

One of our established clients are looking for a Customer Acceptance and System Test Engineer who will be central knowledge base within R&D for customer end-to-end scenarios/test plans.
You will also be part of customer acceptance validation of software and products under development and follow-up of projects as a technical knowledge center between business, customers and R&D.
Big part of the role is customer support field reported issues & scenarios directly / indirectly by providing solutions, information and workarounds for customers in all regions.
We are looking for engineers with a minimum of 1-year of professional experience and the following skills and knowledge:
- Understanding of the following technologies: Ethernet, VLAN, 802.11, IP
routing, mesh networking, IPv4 & IPv6.
- Good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite (incl. NAT, ALG, VPN, UPnP, DNS, DHCP). Also in an IPv6 context.
- Hands-on experience with IP routers/gateways and IP networks in general
- Understanding basic concepts of the following applications and their underlying technologies: VoIP, IPTV, remote management
- Any experience with following test tooling is a plus: Wireshark, Spirent
TestCenter, Ixia IxLoad, Ixia Chariot
- Earlier experiences in the field of embedded software and telecommunications testing shall be considered as an advantage
- Earlier experience with test automation and scripting are an advantage.
This is a long term project with an immediate start date for the right candidate.
