Lead Electronic Design Engineer
Experience required:
• Electronics design, build management, rework, and HW test
• Spacecraft flight computer engineering
• Embedded computational architectures and platforms
• English language skills
Beneficial skills include:
• Relevant CAD experience (Altium or similar, and thermal FEA)
• Understanding of existing spacecraft flight computer systems
• Ability to build and rework electronics assemblies
• Understanding of space hardware quality standards and qualification process
• Working knowledge of commercial processors, microcontrollers and FPGAs
• Build for manufacture design experience and supplier management
• Understanding of encryption techniques and remote node security
• Competent software development skills (C++, embedded C, VHDL and/or Python)
• Build for test design, and hardware/software test campaign development & execution
• Familiar with relevant industry standards (ECSS and IPC)
• Practical experience running test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, radiation, extreme temperatures)
