Software Engineer (Software Defined Radio)

As an SDR Software Engineer, you will be designing, developing and testing all SDR software along with their FPGA and host interface.

Main responsibilities:

- Evaluating Software Defined Radio in order to be incorporated to payload and spacecraft systems
- Updating / creating Linux device drivers and host interface SW to interact with SDRs
- Developing test software
- C/C++ software writing on Linux / Windows
- Designing in-house IP blocks for core payload in Verilog/VHDL
- Testing and validating hardware blocks (in simulation and on target)

Experience required:

- Min. 5 years of software development experience working with SDRs
- Good knowledge of FPGS design flows (Xillinx, Alterra)
- Experience with device drivers for communication between Linux user-space applications and FPGA
- Working knowledge of SoC platforms (such as Zynq)
- Proficiency in Verilog or/and VHDL
- Experience in using lab equipment testing and validation
- Previous experience with implementing DSP algorithms in FPGAs
- Experience of working with multiple programming languages (C++, C), scripting languages (Python, Bash), Linux/Windows operating systems
