Who you are...

• You will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar STEM subject
• You will have previous experience working in mechanical design, vibration and shock testing, and/or structural analysis
• Demonstrable high level of IT skills for data analysis, modelling and reporting
• Programming experience for data manipulation and modelling
• Methodical approach to testing and organisation to maintain traceability, avoid errors and validate work performed
• Experience in experimental/test work and data analysis
• An enthusiasm for innovative designs, developments and ideas
• You will ideally have experience working in aerospace, military or similar industry
• Experience in design for manufacture
• Experience in automation of processes

What you will be doing…

You will support mechanical design and testing of batteries
You will be responsible for implementing improvement projects within area of specialisation
Design for manufacture for new products
Responsible for the technical aspects of automation
You will be responsible for training more junior engineers from the department in area of specialisation
You will provide expert technical support to engineering and proposal teams
