Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Reporting to: Programme Manager

Role Synopsis:
Channel your expertise in the entire spectrum of mechanical engineering, breathing life into designs that are not only innovative but are also geared to thrive in the rigors of space.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate effectively with clients, absorbing their needs and translating them into impactful designs, resolving technical quandaries with ease and expertise.
Craft lightweight, cost-effective mechanisms tailored for the challenges of space deployment.
Rigorously review and validate the resilience of each design, ensuring they stand unwavering in all conceivable scenarios.
Adhere to and work diligently towards the TRS and the DDVP requirements.
Take charge of the design configuration, ensuring its precision and relevance.
Be the beacon of technical know-how during procurement, assembly, and testing phases.
Work in tandem with the Business Development team on bids and proposals, channeling your knowledge to craft compelling pitches.
Represent the essence and ethos of projects in various meetings, presenting technical content that resonates with both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering or Science.
Sound grasp over disciplines like mechanical, thermal, electrical systems, and system engineering.
Acquaintance with gears, motors, or mechanisms.
Effective communication, supported by a proficiency in MS Office tools.
An innate team player, adept at fostering meaningful relationships across the board.
An innovative mindset that thrives on challenges, consistently presenting ingenious solutions.
Stellar organizational skills that can juggle multiple projects without compromising on deadlines.
An undying commitment to quality, complemented by an eagle eye for detail.

Desirable Attributes:
Proficiency in software tools such as SW professional, FEMAP, NASTRAN, ADAMS, Matlab, etc.
Prior experience in regulated sectors like Space, Nuclear, Aerospace, or Automotive.
A touch of familiarity with RF systems engineering.
Either possess or be willing to undergo the UK Government National Security Vetting.
