Role Overview:
Encompassing the complete lifecycle of our aerospace products, from assembling R&D marvels to executing rigorous tests on flight hardware. Your expertise will be the touchstone of quality and precision across our product spectrum.

Primary Responsibilities:
Hands-on assembly of flight hardware and innovative R&D products.
Conduct meticulous tests including but not limited to functional, electrical, vibration, shock, TVAC, and RF testing.
Draft comprehensive Manufacturing Assembly Procedures (MAPs) and Testing Protocols.
Utilize state-of-the-art metrology equipment to inspect machined components.
Collaborate seamlessly with the Product Assurance team to curate and document MAIT procedures.
Pinpoint areas of improvement within business operations and champion their implementation.
Represent the MAIT team in customer and internal reviews.
Embark on visits to sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring impeccable quality and collaboration.

Essential Skills & Experience:
In-depth engineering knowledge with a flair for assembling precision components.
Demonstrable proficiency with Metrology tools.
A thorough understanding of MAIT aspects, both theoretical and hands-on.
Proven experience with assembly protocols.
Acumen to interpret detailed drawings, materials, surface finishes, and tolerances.
Mastery over Microsoft Office tools.
An innate drive to meet goals within set timeframes.
A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, making complexity look simple.
Capable of working independently or harmoniously within a team, adapting to the task at hand.

Desirable Attributes:
Acquaintance with machine components.
Knowledge of ECSS standards in the space sector.
Experience in aerospace or automotive is a plus, with a distinct edge for those familiar with the space industry.
A background in Mechanical Apprenticeship is highly favorable.
A grasp over aerospace processes and components will be advantageous.
Please Note: This position may demand occasional travel, visits to test facilities, and could extend into longer working days or weekends to ensure impeccable product build and testing.
