An experienced EEE Engineer is required to work on a permanent basis for a leading Satellite manufacturer in Munich
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordination of EEE part selection, qualification and procurement for applications in space including:
- Manage the EEE part quality assurance (DCL and PAD review, Parts Control Board participation) in prime level programs with customer and subcontractors
- Evaluate components with respect to compliance with project requirements and manufacturing aspects for in-house designs
- Initiate and support the procurement of EEE parts and manage EEE part qualification programs
- Prepare, review and release EEE documentation (e. g. DCLs, PADs, qualification status)
- Process parts non-conformities and provide technical support for NRB decisions
- Manage relations with component suppliers and manufacturers
- Management of EEE alerts and their documentation in the internal parts database
Qualifications required:
- University degree in electrical engineering, physics or similar discipline
- Quality and Product Assurance background
- Technical understanding of EEE part technologies and failure mechanisms for different part families
- Working knowledge of EEE standards and specifications (ESA/ESCC/ECSS and MIL standards)
- Fluently written and spoken English
Optional Skills:
- Professional experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space
- Experience with relevant test methods for component qualification and screening
- Knowledge of the market for electronic components for space applications
- Experience in circuit design and electronic assembly processes
