Your Tasks

– All software engineering activities within a software project; this includes software requirements engineering, software 
 architecture, software design, software development, software validation and verification
– Typically specializes in a subset of the above activities based on team and project assignment
– Main tasks within the job:
– Performing software requirements engineering at the technical specification (TS) level and co-engineering at the requirements 
 baseline (RB) level
– Performing software architecture, design and development
– Development and execution of software unit tests, software integration tests and software validation tests (at TS and RB level 
 where applicable)
– Performing software verification activities, e.g. static software analysis
– Documentation for all of the above tasks
– Supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner in work planning and progress reporting in projects
– Technical coordination of software subcontractors, including milestones and acceptance tests together with the Technical Supply 
 Manager (TSM)
– Support in the definition, development and maintenance of processes, tools, facilities and technologies within the department

Your Qualifications

– Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
– Technical software engineering knowledge
– Good methodological competence in the application of the V-model, possibly with in-depth specialization (e.g. software V&V, design 
 & development)
– Knowledge of agile software development methods
– Good knowledge of relevant software and software-related ECSS standards
– Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
