Your tasks
- Definition and analysis of ground segment requirements and adaptations to new missions
- Development of satellite operating concepts for multi-missions
- Participation in offers for mission operations
- Support in the development, planning and implementation of test campaigns for ground and space segments
- Creation and validation of operational products for mission operations
- Participation in (and, if necessary, design of) company trainings and implementations
- Support of flight operations in critical and routine phases
- Support of several missions in the area of satellite operations simultaneously
- Knowledge management for operational team development
Your qualifications
- Studies in engineering, physics or an equivalent subject
- Professional experience (ideally >5 years) in the space sector, experience in mission or satellite operations
- Experience in the definition, development and validation of satellite ground segments
- Experience in flight dynamics and satellite control tools (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.)
- Experience in script programming (Tope, Python), Matlab or STK
- Experience with satellite constellations is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
- Independent and proactive way of working
- Enjoy supporting multiple missions in the company flexibly
- Interest in acquiring expertise outside the satellite field
