Digital Equipment Systems Engineer - Germany

Our client, a leader in the Space/Satellite industry in Bremen, Germany are looking for a Digital Equipment Systems Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities:

- Design of digital electronic equipment and preparation of equipment and subsystem specification
- Equipment level system engineering for the development of crypto units for space systems
- Support for planning, coordination and control of subsystem verification activities
- Support for preparation of equipment level proposals
- Providing independent technical assessments to both project level and customer system level and in subsystem reviews
- Participation in or leadership for studies and technical innovation projects
- Support for system level (satellite and ground segment) tasks
- Preparation of presentation materials and reports to project management


Your Qualifications

- Engineering or doctoral degree in electrical engineering, physics or computer engineering
- Proven experience in the design of digital electronic equipment, preferably in embedded systems and/or space electronics
- Experience in the area of space standards (ECSS, CCSDS, others)
- Experience of requirements management in DOORS is a plus
- Knowledge in the field of security engineering is a plus
- High motivation and proactive involvement
- Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
