HYBRID ROLE-

What You’ll Do:

•Lead engineering activities and teach engineering activities within a small team
•Work independently to define required test products and test resources required for various integration level tests with any of the system elements
•Conduct requirements analysis and decomposition of systems requirements into verifiable test objectives
•Develop test plans, procedures, test execution scripts, and data analysis reduction scripts
•Conduct test execution, analysis, issue resolution, and reporting
•Improve upon test plans, procedures, test execution scripts, and data analysis reduction scripts
•Perform continuous improvement efforts, including reducing test cycle time and improving product quality
•Be responsible for configuring the physical lab environment (cable connections)
•Manages best practices within the team


Things You Must Bring to the Table:

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
•Minimum of 10 years experience with test automation or software development
•Expertise with the Microsoft Windows and Office product suite
•Expertise in Telecommunication Protocols and call flow diagrams
•Experience developing software in C, C++, C#, Java, Python and/or other computer languages
•Experience with circuit switched data, IP networks and network analyzers
Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
•Experience with WireShark or other protocol analyzers and test simulators
•Exposure to using databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
•Knowledgeable about machine virtualization, specifically VMware Desktop and ESXi
•Knowledgeable with software management tools (JIRA, Bamboo, etc.)
•Exposure to Agile software development process
