As the Project Product Assurance Manager, you will be at the forefront of overseeing all product assurance requirements for cutting-edge space projects throughout their entire life cycle. From business development to design, manufacture, test, and delivery phases, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of missions that will shape the future of space exploration. Collaborate with top-notch professionals from diverse disciplines, including Project Management, Project Engineering, and MAIT, as you lead the charge in producing impeccable documentation and hardware, ensuring absolute compliance with customer specifications. You will also serve as the primary Product Assurance representative, building strong relationships with customers to elevate our projects to new heights. Depending on project complexity, you may have a team of skilled Project Product Assurance Engineers supporting you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety Beyond Boundaries:

Make safety the cornerstone of every project task, adhering to the company's health and safety policy.

Charting a Stellar Strategy:

Deliver Product Assurance activities with precision and excellence, delighting our customers with on-time, high-quality results.
Skillfully address and resolve any non-conformances on assigned projects, demonstrating your expertise.
Represent the business with confidence in customer meetings and reviews.

Performance and Design:

Illuminate the path for the CABC team, providing indispensable Product Assurance requirements for new opportunities.
Document the seamless compliance of delivered products with customer specifications.
Skillfully prepare required documentation to meet and exceed customer PA requirements, such as NCRs, EIDPs, and Inspection Reports.
Shine as the specialist in Product Assurance analysis and documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety).
Take the lead in chairing internal readiness review meetings (MRR, TRR).
Oversee in-build and in-test inspection points, ensuring sign-off of reports and checkpoints that guarantee success.
Champion safety certification and compliance statements for our remarkable products.
Define the initial product baseline (CIDL), soliciting valuable input from the project team.
Masterfully manage the classification, tracking, and logging of changes to the product baseline (via CCBs).
Skillfully communicate baseline changes to customers, tracking the status of RfD/RfW.
Collaborate with Project Managers to effectively control costs and ensure efficient progress.

Nurturing Programmatic Control:

Lead the way in ensuring schedule adherence of product assurance tasks on designated project(s).
Effortlessly allocate work across the team, empowering your assigned Product Assurance Engineers.
Provide invaluable product assurance inputs to risk management processes.
Ensure timely completion of project documentation, always maintaining our company's high standards.

Mastering Quality Control:

Take charge of the knowledge, understanding, and application of the Business Management System (BMS) documentation.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

A degree in a STEM subject, equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience in delivering PA engineering on spacecraft projects.
Expertise in inspecting and accepting spacecraft hardware.
Proficiency in producing technical Product Assurance documentation, including Materials, Process, Components, and Parts Lists, Hazard Analysis, and Reliability and FMECA Reports.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of European Space Industry standards (ECSS).
Ability to interpret and develop compliant solutions based on European Space Industry standards (ECSS).
