AIT Mechanical Operator / Technician


Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as MAIT Mechanical Technician, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:


You will support the writing of the procedures, detailing the assembly and mechanical setups for tests under the lead of the MAIT mechanical engineer
You will be involved in the execution of the mechanical operations, following procedures and documenting all the anomalies or deviations
You will be involved in the resolutions of anomalies happening during the integration and tests.
You will give your feedback and report any problem to the MAIT mechanical engineer or Lead AIT.
Being involved in any type of operations, including mechanical and fluidic operations, assembly operation aswell as tests and setup for tests.
Setting up the factory and the GSE (Ground support equipment) that need to be installed
Working closely together with the MAIT Mechanical Engineer and Lead AIT


Ideally looking for:

Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Degree as a technician or Bachelor (2 years after High school)
Technician who likes hands on work but also accurate work
Previous experience (2 or 3 years) in building space vehicles would be appreciated
Fluent in English and German advantageous but not mandatory.
