Overview

-We’ve partnered with a leading space company in Germany to recruit for a Senior Ground Segment Systems Engineer with experience 
 in the space industry. 
-This is a contract role based in Bremen, Germany, with a flexible hybrid working setup. We’re looking for someone skilled, motivated, 
 and ready to play a key role in exciting space projects.

Tasks

-Creating system concepts for satellite/mission control and operation
-Development of architectures for the control and operation of different mission and requirement types (e.g. earth observation and 
 reconnaissance, satellite communication, GEO, MEO and LEO satellites and constellations etc.)
-Central interface between project management, customers and (sub) system engineers as well as the specialist departments involved 
-Deriving system and operating scenarios from requirements catalogs
-Technical coordination of engineers and expert groups - internally and externally
-Analysis of technical interfaces for secure and efficient data flows
-(Model-based) development of specifications and requirements
-Technical support for offers and customer enquiries

Qualifications

-Degree in aerospace engineering or with a comparable engineering/science qualification 
-Very good knowledge of satellite/space missions including a technically sound understanding of the requirements
-Experience with SysEng tools (e.g. Cameo, EnterpriseArchitect etc.) is an advantage
-Experienced in preparing and presenting technical results 
-Structured, analytical and independent way of working
-Good written and spoken German and English skills required
-Enjoy working in interdisciplinary, international teams 
-Willingness to travel within Europe
