Overview


A leading space company in Germany is looking for a Mechanical AIT Operator to support the hands-on assembly, integration, 
and testing of cutting-edge spacecraft systems. This is a contract position based in Munich, Germany, offering a hybrid work model.



Your Tasks


– Independently prepare integration and test activities.
– Carry out mechanical integration and test activities in ISO5 and ISO8 cleanroom environments.
– Handle tools, measuring, and testing devices with professionalism and care.
– Create required AIT documentation, including procedures, log sheets, and test reports.
– Coordinate with quality control and other specialist departments.
– Conduct inspections, maintain activity records, and generate problem reports.
– Support test activities and campaigns at external test facilities (including business travel).
– Assist with 3D measurement activities using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).



Your Qualifications


– Completed mechanical vocational training in a technical field such as industrial/precision mechanics, 
aircraft mechanics, or mechanical measurement technology, ideally with experience in the space sector.

– Hands-on experience as an AIT operator, in prototyping assembly, or similar roles.
– Strong ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
– High motivation and commitment to project goals.
– Able to work effectively under time pressure while maintaining quality.
– Good communication skills and a strong team spirit.
– Good command of English.
