Responsibilities
- Identify required Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) in close collaboration with the Systems Engineering team
- Develop technical solution concepts and create detailed MGSE specifications
- Present MGSE concepts to project management and customers
- Plan and manage MGSE schedules
- Contribute to project milestone and design reviews related to MGSE
- Support the selection of suppliers in cooperation with Supply Chain Management
- Act as the technical point of contact for suppliers during the manufacturing phase and monitor production progress
- Participate in supplier reviews and acceptance tests
- Define, review, and approve required documentation (manufacturing drawings, manuals, test reports, etc.)
- Train employees in the correct use of MGSE
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or university degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or a comparable field
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong expertise in mechanical engineering and mechanical integration
- Knowledge of applicable aerospace standards
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities
- High level of responsibility and a structured, efficient working style
- Very good command of written and spoken English
