One of our established Swiss-based clients is looking for a Software Developer on a permanent basis to participate in the development of computer-based training and simulation software.
As a Software Developer, you will be in charge of the programming of the design and implementation of the simulation software using C++ and other coding languages for Linux platforms.
You will also perform validation & verification activities related to the software produced and in support to the testing team as well as carry out bug tracking of internal and external issues within the project life of the simulation products.
Experience and Skills required:
- Excellent working knowledge of C++, BOOST libraries and Linux operating systems
- Good knowledge of scripting tool Phyton
- Proven working experience of at least five (5) years in complex software development projects.
- Software engineering (min Bs degree) is an Advantage
- Flight simulation or aerospace experience is an advantage
- Good practical knowledge of software versioning tools, e.g. Git and Jira (or similar) planning and issues tracking Tools
