AIT Manager

Responsible for all AIT aspects of a satellite project throughout the project cycle (including technical, costings, scheduling and team management)

Management of assembly, integration and testing of the system and sub-assemblies
Planning and execution of all AIT tasks in a satellite project
In early phase: support System Engineering / Verification to ensure a design regarding AIT aspects
Establish and maintain AIT documents (AIT Plan, AIT Flow, Facility Plan, GSE Deployment Plan, GSE-Specifications, Environmental Test Facility Specification, AIT Risk Register)
Ensure timely availability of the AIT documents, GSE, check-out SW, personnel, facilities, results processing capability
Technically manage GSE subcontractor, if applicable
Establish AIT team for specific project (in cooperation with head of department)
Maintain schedules (working schedule, updated every week; master AIT schedule)
Preparation and participation in AIT reviews (IRR/TRR)
Participate to NRBs and support decision making
Organise lessons learned sessions
Report AIT status to project manager, Head of Department and customer (if requested by the project)

Qualifications required:
A degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, space technology or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in the field of system engineering or AIT
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
Effective communication skills
Flexibility in mind, able and willing to react on changes during the project realisation
Inventive concerning AIT methods and testing
Fluency in written and spoken English, German is a plus
